Macrame Santa Ornaments
Prognosis: Excellent.
Adorable! I followed these directions with a couple of minor changes. I found it much easier on my joints to unwind the macrame cord by hand before combing it out otherwise it was really tough and tangled. And instead of using hairspray to hold the beard in place, I splurged on fabric stiffener since I knew I’d be making lots of these. The author says they take about 30 minutes to make. It took me about an hour to get one of these jolly fellas done.
Treatment Plan: These became a family affair. My husband and I made different colored Santa hats. Our toddler even ‘decorated’ one.
